Gillette M3Power Nitro To this the “M3 Power” adds an in-handle vibrator that makes one sweep of the blade that way more effective, requiring less sweeps and a shorter sweep to chop which is particularly useful on the top lip, and produces a better barber-shop-feel shave. The thicker handle is not so thick on be uncomfortable to carry. The battery lasts a long time (the packaging says two to four months). The blades last an extended time – at least week on average i might say.
I hear that the 5-blade “Gilette Fusion” (and Gillette Fusion Power) might have a good higher shave but the worth of the blades, the issue of shaving your top lip as a result of the width of the blade attachment, the difficulty of cleaning as a result of the closer blade alignment, and therefore the lack of blade durability means that the Mach 3 Power, will stay my selection of shave.
The packaging of the Mach 3 and M3 Power blades intimate, by exclusion, that solely the latter will work on the M3 Power handle. but this doesn’t seem to be the case. My old Mach three blades at least click to suit the new M3 power handle. I can see no vital difference. Unless I notice something concerning the shave that is not apparent from a visual inspection of the blades, i think i will be able to be using Mach three blades on a M3 Power body.
